What We Do

Our sports project is designed to support the holistic development of children in our community.

Every week, we focus on four key areas that work together to create lasting change:

Education

Monday evening classes with volunteer teachers to track progress and ensure learning continues alongside sports training.

Sports Training

Tuesday to Friday sessions for six football age groups (U6-U17) and three netball groups, focusing on skills, teamwork, and discipline.

Health & Wellbeing

Health support and education to ensure physical and mental wellness, including annual health insurance for all participants.

Character Development

Teaching life skills like resilience, leadership, and respect through sport and mentorship.

Volunteering Opportunities

We offer dynamic sports programs designed to engage and empower both boys and girls in our community:

Football (Boys)

Age Groups: U8 to U17

Football is the heartbeat of many young lives in Ghana. We're passionate about helping these kids develop their skills while having fun.

Netball (Girls)

Age Groups: 7 to older

Netball is a powerful tool for empowering girls. We're proud to see them grow into strong, confident leaders both on and off the court.

Nelson Mandela

“Sport has the power to change the world. It has the power to inspire. It has the power to unite people in a way that little else does”

Sports are more than just games—they’re tools for empowerment, development, and hope. Through our sports programs, we use the power of sport to change lives and create better opportunities for children in Ghana.

Duration: 2 – 12 weeks

Whether you’re an experienced coach or simply passionate about sports, these volunteering opportunities provide a unique chance to help inspire young athletes and make a meaningful difference in Ghana.

Football Coaching

Football is Ghana’s number one passion. Every child here grows up playing football anywhere and everywhere they can, and we harness that passion to create opportunities for disadvantaged children and communities.

As a Football Volunteer, you’ll:

✓ Work alongside local coaches to inspire the next generation

✓ Teach new drills to develop technique and skills

✓ Make football fun and engaging

✓ Create a safe and supportive environment for all players

Netball Coaching

Netball is a growing sport in Ghana, especially among young girls. As more schools, colleges, and universities introduce netball, we’ve seen a significant increase in female participation.

Our Netball Opportunities Include:

✓ Coaching junior and senior teams (ages 7–18)

✓ Working with girls in local community schools

✓ Getting girls involved in PE lessons and netball

✓ Developing the sport alongside local coaches
